The 2009-2010 season is finished. Congratulations to the winners in the three divisions. The playoffs were very exciting. It was great for everyone to see children who couldn't skate at the beginning of the season flying around the rink, playing great hockey. The goal tending in the upper two divisions was incredible. The final game in division 2 was decided by a shoot-out when the teams were tied after overtime.
There is a good chance this was the last season. The Town of East Hampton has expressed the need to sell the facility to compensate for the deficit. We hope sports continue for all that have enjoyed the Arena for the last five years and for the players of East End Hockey, which has been providing hockey to the youth of the town since 1994. If you are displeased with our Town Boards decision you must let them know now. Whether East End Ice manages the facility or someone else, the benefits to the youth and Latino community far exceeds the minimal cost.
The HOCKEY REGISTRATION FORM is online now!
Remember to donate the old equipment. It will be utilized by others to help minimize costs!
